15 Most Annoying Female Pop Songs

Here's my list of the most annoying female pop songs ever. Now, don't get me wrong I may call these songs annoying and may occasionally make fun of them too but I abso-fucking-lutely LOVE the songs! These are songs I never skip yet find annoying.

15. The Sign - Ace of Base (Okay, they're not an all female group, but the vocalists are).

Its catchy and appears in so many movies, and the beat is almost sickly annoying.

14. California Gurls - Katy Perry

The explosion of candy pop is Katy Perry and with this song she just proved how candy she can be. Annoying, repetitive and it even features Snoop Dogg / Lion (or whatever he decides his name will be next). Also, it has her going Oh-oo-ee-oh-oo-ee-oh-whoa. Definitely on the list.

13. Wannabe - Spice Girls

Now a lot of you may think this song needs to be in the top 10, but honestly its slightly less annoying than the list that follows and its almost become a classic now (considering the number of times its been played). Its definitely annoying, but its also fun.

12. Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani

Most Gwen Stefani songs are annoying, here's my most favourite and most annoying. Once you've heard the song not only will you be tuning Gwen Stefani's lyrics you'll also be squeaking your big voice into her little scream. Cause there ain't no Hollaback Girl!!!

11. Milkshake - Kelis 

Cause her Milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. Of course its annoying. Way too many boys in the yard! And La La la.

10. Fergalicious - Fergie

Everything from the electronic backgrounds to the Will.I.Am collaboration about this song is catchy and hits you. Were this list not about female vocalists, the Black Eyed Peas would rule! 

The narcissism present in every song is overpowered here while you may also feel like slapping Fergie!

09. Barbie Girl - Aqua

So, this may not be a song by female artists at all, it still remains one of the most annoying songs ever and gets a mention on this list because of its Barbie roots (which eradicates the penises of the male members of the group - Ken Doll anyone?) The song with its squeaky barbie vocalist and cheeky/sarcastic digs at Barbie gets brownie points, but nothing can take away how annoying the song is - almost as annoying as barbie herself.

08. Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen

We get it, she likes giving her number a lot. We've had way too much of this song anyway. The most annoying part isn't Carly's voice (which honestly is better than quite a few people on this list) it's the lyrics!

07. Blah, Blah, Blah - Ke$ha

So you'd probably hate on me if I hadn't included Kesha in this list, cause lets face it, like Gwen Stefani most of Kesha's songs are annoying but they're also fun and some of my most favourite songs ever! I simply love Kesha but I know how catchy and pesky her song can be to most people. Here's the one that annoys me.

06. Pocketful of Sunshine - Natasha Badingfield

Despite the fact that she's British she manages to enter the list (the song did do best in America, so). The shouting-singing along with the sweet tune minus a pacy beat does make this song pretty annoyingg - plus, the lyrics seem way too happy.

05. Crash Your Party - Karmin

Even if there's a guy in the duo he's as irrelevant as a pixel in the video. This song takes home the annoyance trophy (except there are others), the lyrics, the chick's voice, the video, Karmin's hairstyling everything just combines to make you want to stop. just stop. 

04. Hot Problems - Double Take

They're so convinced they're hot they forget that in the video we don't find them hot. And apparently they're taking digs at 'hot' and 'perfect' girls but that's just bull, lost in their convincing everyone they're hot. Plus, the lyrics? This song is here to stay.

03. Hello Kitty - Avril Lavigne

So this could easily dethrone the following two songs in terms of annoyance, but considering how little response this song has got compared to the following it stay at number three.

Of course Avril Lavigne was going to be on the list, perhaps with all of her other songs, until she released this piece of loudness. Hello Kitty is nothing but annoying and catchy - and I do love it!

02. Friday - Rebecca Black

Yes its not on the top of the list, but its annoying all the same - and we've had to endure this song for way too long. Rebecca blacks moved on (to Saturday), so we should acknowledge this and move on too.

Number 1. Gucci Gucci - Kreayshawn

Even if we ignore the fact that her name itself is so annoying and unpronounceable the song about hating on 'Brands' and rich bitches is outirhgt annoying and irksome! There's nothing as annoying as Gucci Gucci - the beats, the background male vocalist - it all just puts together a ringing in your ears.

Here's my tough-to-create list of most annoying female pop songs ever. However, I do love all of these songs and have been listening to them on repeat a lot! You might not agree with everything but do let me know what you think should change below in the comments
